Description: Lavender probably has the most widely recognized aroma and is known for its soothing, calming and aromatic qualities.  Colonist thought lavender could cure over 40 different ailments.  "...especially the flowers of it, are most effectuall against paines of the head, and all diseases thereof proceeding of cold cause..."  The Herball or General Historie of Plantes, 1597, J. It is also cultivated for its essential oils and fragrant blossoms, as well as its floral notes.  Unlike our Lavender Tea that contains black tea, this product is pure lavender blossoms.
